Hello my name is Trish Mandewo and I invite you to learn more about why I am running to be your next Mayor for the City of Coquitlam.
For more than 15 years, Coquitlam has been my home for myself & family, my husband Alex, daughter Alexandra, and beloved dog, Kei. Coquitlam is not just the city I serve; it's the city where my family has built its life and where I'm unequivocally invested in the future.

Why this election? Why now?
Our city is changing quickly. Growth is bringing extraordinary opportunities, but also increasing pressure on housing, infrastructure, affordability, transportation and the services people rely on every day. The next Mayor will need to manage today’s challenges while preparing Coquitlam for the next generation.
This election is about whether we simply react to change or shape it.
I have spent eight years helping govern this city, giving me a clear understanding of what is working, where the pressures are growing and what lies ahead. My experience on Council, together with my leadership roles with the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), has broadened my perspective, strengthened my relationships across governments, and prepared me for the responsibility of leading Coquitlam through its next chapter.
